Dear Lord,
I come to you, asking for your hand to be over me as I go to bed tonight. Lord, I pray for a peaceful night’s sleep, free of restlessness, free of nightmares. You are in control of everything, whether I’m awake or asleep. I know that you care for me, and watch over me. Only you can give me the rest I need. Rest my mind and comfort my soul, so that I can sleep deeply and peacefully.
This, I ask, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
