A Teacher’s Prayer Before Starting Class

Dear Lord,

We thank you for each of these precious children. As we start the day, we pray you’ll come into this classroom and create an environment where the children are happy and excited to learn. Help the boys and girls behave in a manner that honors you and shows respect to their classmates. And Lord, use me as their teacher, to teach the lessons in a way that they’ll enjoy. We ask for a wonderful day of learning. 

We ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

A Prayer for Children in Homeschool

Dear Lord,

We praise you, and thank you, for the ability to teach our children at home.

Lord, we ask that you will bless them, as they learn this year. Fill them with excitement to learn something new. Help them retain what is taught and excel in every aspect of their education.

Lord, they are your precious little ones. We ask that you will keep them close to you as they learn and grow. Watch over them and guide them, and use them for the glory of the Father.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

A Prayer for the End of the School Year

Dear Lord,
We give you all the praise and glory for bringing us to the close of another school year. We pray that everything these students have learned will stay with them and help them through the rest of their lives. Lord, only you know the future of each and every student here. We pray blessings over each of them, may all of their education be for the Father’s Glory. May what they’ve leaned help them to grow as individuals and have promising futures aligned with you. May they continue to be a joy in the lives of those around them.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
