A Simple Salvation Prayer for New Believers

Dear Lord,

I come before you today as an imperfect person in need of saving.
I believe that you are the Son of God, sent here to pay for our sins.
I believe that you were crucified for our sins and resurrected on the third day.
I believe you are the only way to heaven.
I’ve made some bad decisions, and I’ve done things that I regret.
I repent of my sins and I ask you to please come into my life.
Be my personal Lord and Savior.

I ask these things in Jesus’ name, amen.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

A Prayer for the Forgiveness of Sins

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you through your beloved Son, Jesus. I know I am a sinner and I confess that I have “sinned and fallen short of the Glory!” It is by your precious and endless love and mercy that I come to you. 

Your Son bore all sins on the Cross at Calvary. Everything I have said and done, that goes against your Word, He has washed clean.

A Prayer of Preparation for the Second Coming of Christ

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we read Matthew 24 and 25, Christ tells us that certain events will take place prior to his second coming. We see our world quickly changing and fear takes hold of many. This is when we must remember Christ has overcome the world! Christ tells us these things so that we can prepare for the most glorious moment known since the beginning of time.

Lord, we need Your divine intervention. We need to awaken those who are alive, to recognize the time in which we are living. We need to recommit ourselves to You, Lord. For those who are ready, there will be nothing to fear, but instead, great and glorious excitement! Thank You Father, for only You know the timing of our Lord’s return.

In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord, for your heavenly blessings. When we give thanks for our daily bread and drink, you bless us with the blood and body of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ tells us to partake of the body and blood in remembrance of Him. When we participate in giving thanks, the Lord heals us, spiritually, mentally and physically.
