A Prayer for Every Christian
Dear God,
While I know October 31st is a difficult day for many Christians to celebrate, we must remember that each day, including this one, is a blessing from you. This Halloween, I pray that your kingdom will be glorified!
Use us, more now than ever, to minister to those who need you. Deliver those who have embraced sinful ways that come against your commandments. Allow us to reach these people and share your endless and forgiving love with them.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Dear God,
Many families will be going out trick-or-treating this evening. We pray for your protection over each and every child and parent who will be going out tonight. Watch over them as they walk around and cross streets, as they knock on doors and meet new people. May you be with them and guide them. We pray that each one will return safely to their homes and families.
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
