A Prayer to Forgive Friends Who Gossip

Dear Jesus,

Today I learned some people, who I thought were my friends, have been talking about me behind my back. I don’t know everything they’ve said about me, but knowing that they’re gossiping about me has hurt my feelings a lot.

Jesus, please help me forgive them. I don’t want to be bitter or angry because of it. Help me to learn from what they have done, so I will never treat anyone the way they have treated me.

This I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A Prayer for the Loss of Good Friend

Lord,
I come before you, in shock of the loss of my good friend. They were more than a sibling to me. All the good times we’ve had, no matter what we did, or where we went, there was always laughter. I believe my dear friend is with you, I believe that they’re in Heaven. I thank you and praise you, Lord, for giving me such a wonderful friendship, and comfort in knowing I’ll see them again one day.
